Eagles continue to roll on the road

BOX SCORE: USI 7, Northwood (Fla.) 2

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis continued to roll on the road with a 7-2 win over Northwood University (Fla.) in West Palm Beach, Florida. USI, which has won three straight road games, raised its record to 9-1 overall, while Northwood fell to 1-4.

The Screaming Eagles swept through the doubles matches to lead 3-0. The three doubles teams combined to all the Seahawks only nine total points.USI clinched the match by taking four of six singles matches with all of the victories coming in straight sets.

The Eagles conclude their spring trip Wednesday when they play Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Match time is 9 a.m. (CST).
